Daycare drop out? Too young for group play, or more of a homebody? Every service below works as a walk or as a drop-in visit a potty break, yard play, and cuddles at home, same price either way. For pups of any age or size, with medication administration if needed during a visit.

The Walks

Choose the length that fits your pup’s energy level as a walk, or as a drop-in visit for pups who aren’t up for one. Same-day booking available for $5 more per walk or visit.

  • 20 minutes. A brisk walk around the block, or a quick potty break and hello at home for pups who aren’t up for a walk. Same price either way.

  • 30 minutes. Our most popular option — available a la carte or as low as $25/visit on a weekly package. Take it as a walk, or swap in a home visit with a potty break and playtime for pups who need something gentler.

  • 45 minutes. A longer outing for pups who need more time to sniff, explore, and burn off energy — or an extended in-home visit with play and cuddle time for dogs who do better without the leash.

  • 60 minutes, for the dog with energy to spare — our longest walk, at a leisurely, unhurried pace. Or take it as a full hour of in-home care, including medication administration if needed, thanks to my veterinary hospital background.

Most pet parents start with the “starter package”: three 30-minute walks or drop-in visits a week for $81 ($27 per visit), delivered by the same walker every time. Ready for more? The standard package provides four visits per week, ($26 per visit / $104 for the week) and the full week package is five visits each week, ($25 per visit / $125 for the week). Every package works with walks, drop-in visits, or a mix of both — same weekly rate either way.

Getting Started

Every new client starts with a Meet & Greet:

  • A relaxed, no-pressure visit to your home where I get to know your dog’s routine and quirks, confirm how we’ll handle keys and gear, and build their Pet Success Plan together.

  • A $20 deposit holds your spot and is straight to your first walk.

  • Two dogs from the same household walk together at no extra charge.

  • Each additional dog beyond two is +$5/walk.

  • Black Tie Tails currently serves Richmond, VA.
